Environment & Sustainability: Responsibility for Tomorrow

Environmental protection and sustainability are integral parts of our company philosophy. We are aware that, especially in craftsmanship and property management, resources are consumed—whether through cleaning agents, materials, or travel. Therefore, we do everything possible to make our services as environmentally friendly as possible and to take responsibility for the future.

  • Material selection: We prefer to use certified, low-emission products. In cleaning, we use environmentally friendly cleaning agents that are biodegradable yet effective. For painting work, we make sure to use low-solvent or solvent-free paints that hardly affect indoor air quality. This ensures that emission limits are not exceeded. Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are minimized. This benefits not only the environment but also the people using the spaces: our paints and cleaning agents are often suitable even for sensitive individuals or allergy sufferers, keeping living and working environments health-friendly.

  • Waste disposal: Each project generates different types of waste, from packaging to old paint to green waste. We place great importance on proper waste separation and disposal. Paint cans and chemical residues are handed over to certified disposal companies, green waste from gardening is composted or collected as green waste, and recyclable materials are returned to the recycling cycle. Through these measures, we reduce environmental impact and not only meet but often exceed legal disposal requirements.

  • Travel and mobility: Since we work on-site at our customers’ locations in Zurich and the surrounding area, vehicle trips are unavoidable. Nevertheless, we optimize our travel routes and logistics to reduce emissions. We combine appointments and purchases, plan routes efficiently, and maintain a well-kept, low-emission vehicle fleet. Where possible, we use public transport or combine multiple jobs in one trip. Every kilometer saved protects the environment and also reduces costs, which ultimately benefits our customers.

  • Sustainable consulting: Our responsibility is also reflected in advising our customers. We recommend environmentally friendly solutions wherever it makes sense, such as energy-saving LED lighting, water-saving fixtures, or ecological garden concepts (e.g., insect-friendly planting, avoiding chemical fertilizers). In this way, we contribute not only to acting sustainably ourselves but also to ensuring our projects achieve sustainable results.

Sustainability is not a one-time project for us, but a lived everyday practice. The entire team is aware of this and regularly exchanges ideas on how we can improve further—whether through new eco-friendly products, training in handling hazardous materials, or small changes in daily work routines (e.g., using reusable instead of disposable cups on the construction site).
